THE LAST 8% PROJECT

An Emotional Intelligence Community, helping its members manage the effects of COVID-19

How to thrive in uncertain times

You want to be someone who shows up at your best, in the right way, in all situations. But we are now living in unprecedented times with unprecedented uncertainty as we face not one virus, but two: Covid-19, and the virus of fear, causing us to worry about our health, our job, our family and our future.

The Last 8%

Navigating this new world requires us to face more difficult decisions, conversations and situations. We call these Last 8% moments, because we struggle with them the most, causing us to either avoid or make a mess of them. This leads to feelings of regret and shame, diminishing our confidence in the next Last 8% situation we face.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

We're here to help

For over 20 years we have taught the critical skills  of Emotional Intelligence needed  to navigate Last 8% situations  at  Olympic  Games in  companies like Goldman Sachs, Intel  and   with  US Marines and NASA , to name a few . We have, literally, written the  book on pressure

In this time of need, we want to make these resources available to you for free. In The Last 8% Project you will find an encouraging Facebook community and resources, such as the Last 8% Morning, a morning routine to help you set the tone for the day and get moving, our world class virtual Emotional Intelligence Training Course and Webinars, all designed to help you grow so you can more skillfully take action on your Last 8% moments.

The Transformation

To engage in this community is to commit to transforming yourself from someone who feels fear and uncertainty and avoids or make a makes a mess to someone who feels fear and uncertainty but has necessary Emotional Intelligence skills to allow you to act more courageously and decisively. Once you grow these skills, you will feel more in control of your life and have more confidence in the Last 8% situations you face.

Welcome to the Last 8% Project. We are glad you are here.

Dr. JP Pawliw-Fry guides you through The Last 8% Morning, a routine which integrates Movement (walking) + Mindfulness + Mental training exercises he has used with Olympic athletes, corporate clients and the US Navy/ Army for over 24 years. This routine prepares you to face the most challenging parts of your day – the Last 8% of conversations, decisions and situations that are easy to avoid or make a mess of. Why wake up 15 minutes early and go for a walk with JP in your ear? Because it will help you set the tone for the day, build Emotional Intelligence so you can take action on your Last 8% situations, and live more in alignment with your intention. Enjoy.

How mindfulness affects the brain

A team means those people who not only support a company’s endeavors, but also those who help in making a bigger picture of your brand. By highlighting your team in a creative manner, you are, in a way, garnering a lot of appreciation from the audience and winning their trust for your brand.
